What is One Girl Inspired?

A monthly subscription box with 4-6 thoughtfully selected items to inspire, empower and motivate teen girls to believe in themselves, aspire to dream big and make their own mark on the world.  Each box will have a different theme and the items selected will be fun and inspirational surprises that coincide with that theme.

What's in each box?

Each month's box will contain 4-6 thoughtfully selected items that may include journals, personal development books, tech gadgets, cool school supplies, jewelry, beauty items and much more. Every box will be a fun surprise! That's why we refer to it as "Happy Mail!"

Who will benefit from a One Girl Inspired subscription?

Our box is tailored to teen and late tween-aged girls (11-16) who need or desire a boost of confidence, positive messaging, and inspiration with a dose of fun and good vibes. 

Can I send it as a gift?

Yes! We encourage sending these boxes for Birthdays, Holidays or Just Because!  It's the gift that keeps on giving. (Note to Moms: When grandparents or aunts, etc ask what to get your teen daughter for that special occasion, this is the perfect answer! No more worrying about coming up with a list of items to give them.) Simply choose "this is a gift" option at checkout and you can enter the gift recipient's information! Your gift purchase has the option of being non-renewing, so your gift will automatically expire at the end of the subscription plan period if you do not select the auto-renew option. No need to cancel! If you want the gift to be auto-renewing, simply check the "auto-renew" check box under the gift section at check out! And don't forget to fill out the personalized gift message for the lucky recipient at checkout!

How does it work?

There are multiple plans available for you to choose from: Month-to-Month (cancel anytime) , 3-month prepay ($5 savings), 6-month prepay ($10 savings), or 12-month prepay.  Annual subscriptions receive ONE FREE BOX with subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew and are posted to your credit card on the 11th of the month. You can cancel anytime before your renewal date if you wish for it to not be renewed. For multiple month subscriptions, you can cancel anytime, however you will still receive the remaining boxes from your prepaid multiple month subscription and then your subscription will end. We know that life can be crazy sometimes with finances. So, don't sweat it, you can also choose to skip a month if you need to do so. We'll be ready to welcome you back when you are able to rejoin.

* You can also purchase one-time gift subscriptions that do not auto-renew! Simply choose "this is a gift" option at checkout and your gift will automatically expire at the end of the prepaid period if you do not select the auto-renew option. With this option, there's no need to log onto your account to cancel!

How much is shipping?

Shipping in the US is a flat rate fee of $8 per month and is sent via USPS Priority mail. As a small business we are unable to cover the entire cost of shipping due to the increases in shipping prices and ongoing surcharges.  For US shipping we absorb anything over $8 per box per month.  For Canada shipments, there is a $25 shipping fee per month based on the International Priority shipping rate.

If you are buying something from our Shop (other than a recurring subscription), your shipping cost will be calculated at checkout.

When will my package arrive?

All monthly boxes ship at the same time – on or around the 4th of the month – and it should take just a few days for to arrive on your doorstep! We use USPS priority mail and you will get an email tracking notification when it ships. All orders must be placed by the LAST day of the month in order to receive the current box. (For example, boxes ordered between August 1-31 receive our September box that ships September 4th.)

For shipments to Canada, please allow 7-10 days from ship date via International Priority Mail.

HOLIDAY NOTE: Our December box ships out December 4th (if you place your order between Nov 1-30), so if you are planning on gifting a subscription, you can either start by ordering in November and putting the first one under the tree to wrap OR you order between Dec 1-31 and let the recipient know they will receive their first box in January (our January box ships Jan. 4th). All orders placed in December will receive a "You have been gifted" certificate via email they can print and give to the gift recipient. 

For those who ordered a box between December 1-31, you can also click and print this certificate to give the recipient letting them know something special is on the way.

And last but not least, you can purchase an Add-On product of a past box when you are checking out in December that gives you the opportunity to receive it ahead of January if you place the order by December 16. We will ship it right away so you can gift it with the gift subscription certificate provided in the above link.

Do you include food in your boxes?

We do include a variety of snacks in some of our boxes from time to time. Please check ingredients to ensure you and/or your child does not have an allergy to the ingredients. The snacks can contain nuts and peanuts. One Girl Inspired is not responsible for allergic results from products in the box.

What's your cancellation policy?

If this subscription box just isn't right for your teen, that's okay. If you are not completely satisfied with One Girl Inspired, you can cancel your membership and discontinue your monthly payments at any time prior to your renewal date. For multiple month subscriptions, you can cancel any time prior to the renewal date, however you will still receive the remaining boxes from your prepaid multiple month subscription and then your subscription will end. 

SORRY - WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS ON BOXES THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN SHIPPED. THIS SUBSCRIPTION IS A SURPRISE BOX SO THAT'S A RISK YOU ARE AGREEING TO WHEN YOU SUBSCRIBE. If for some reason you don’t like it, pay it forward to another special teen girl you think might! We cannot honor returns or give refunds simply due to personal preferences. But please make sure you cancel your auto-renewal so you aren't stuck with another shipment that's not a good fit.

What if there's a problem with my account?

You can log in to your account to make necessary changes to billing, mailing address or to cancel. However, if you are still having problems with your account, please send us an email at and we'll be happy to help.
